User Advice
To change the direction of travel simply swap the polarity of the power supply to the two actuator leads.
This actuator is designed primarily for compression loads, it will typically work OK in tension but may be more susceptible to damage from overloading. Shock loads through the mounting points should be avoided if possible.
The actuator motor may be run at a higher or lower than rated voltage as with any DC motor, but be aware that the limit switch circuit is not designed for higher voltages so should be disconnected if increasing the operating voltage and expecting high operating loads.
We cannot cover operation of actuators at above nominal voltage or rated load, replacements are dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

The GLA200 is a 12V DC linear actuator similar in construction to our GLA750 model, but with a faster extension speed of up to 32mm/s while providing a pushing or pulling force of up to 200N (20kg, 45lbs) at the rated voltage.
This model is currently available in five different stroke lengths (travel distances):
50mm
(2"),100mm
(4"), 150mm (6"), 200mm (8") and 300mm (12").Need a larger actuator? Then take a look at our 12V GLA4000 model, capable of over 400kg pushing force. Alternatively our GLA750 model features the same overall dimensions but can provide up to 75kg of force.

Leads & Connector Options
The actuator comes with a 0.8m PVC insulated lead as standard (black external sleeve with two internal cores, one red and one black) with uncovered lead ends.
An option is provided for a DC power connector to be added (2.1mm internal diameter, 5.5mm external) on a 300mm lead, bringing the total lead length to 1.1m. The connector is designed to be directly compatible with our GLA-CU-12V actuator remote control unit, our manual switch harness and DC extension lead.
